The Om-shaped mountain (Omkar Parvat) formed by the Narmada and Kaveri rivers is a rare spiritual formation where Lord Shiva permanently resides.   • Men: Dhoti, kurta-pajama, or clean casual wear.

  • Women: Saree or salwar-kameez in clean, modest colors.

Avoid wearing black or dark colors during the puja, as they are generally not preferred for auspicious rituals.

    1. Sit calmly, preferably facing east or north.

    2. Join with a pure mind, ideally after a bath.

    3. Chant the deity’s name or mantra “Om Namah Shivay” silently or aloud.

    5. Pray with devotion as your name and purpose (sankalp) is read by the priest.
