Puja Process

Book Puja

Book your puja and, after your booking our priest will call you and approach you to have some details like name, gotra, kundali, etc.

Sankalp

Our priests take a personalized Sankalp by reciting your name and gotra and they will perform all the rituals in your name.

Attend Puja

Attend the ritual via video call and perform the puja at home in the guidance of our priest,or attend in-person (if offline)

Prashadi

After the puja, prasad is offered at the temple and sent to you by courier (if online), Or collect directly (if offline)

FAQs for the Ask Jyotish Acharya

  • Men: Dhoti, kurta-pajama, or clean casual wear.

  • Women: Saree or salwar-kameez in clean, modest colors.

Avoid wearing black or dark colors during the puja, as they are generally not preferred for auspicious rituals.

If you’re joining online or remotely participating in the sankalp:

    1. Sit calmly, preferably facing east or north.

    2. Join with a pure mind, ideally after a bath.

    3. Chant the deity’s name or mantra “Om Namah Shivay” silently or aloud.

    4. Fold hands and listen attentively during the priest’s sankalp and Rudra path.

    5. Pray with devotion as your name and purpose (sankalp) is read by the priest.

Yes, the prasad will be sent to the billing address you provided during checkout via courier.
If you wish, we can also distribute the prasad to the needy (bhikshuk or bhaktas) on your behalf — just let us know during checkout or in the note section.

Yes, pujas include photo or video coverage. You will also receive a live streaming link approximately 15 minutes before the puja begins.

You don’t need to worry, everything is taken care of by our team. You just need to be present there. (The priest would not ask for any “Dakshina” but you should always offer some according to your capabilities to fulfil your puja.
