Puja Vidhi:

The Laghu Rudra Abhishek at ShivaSeva is performed by skilled Vedic priests who recite all 8 chapters of the Rudra Path. The puja begins with purification rituals, sankalpam (intention), and invocation of Lord Shiva ( Uplinga in the puja hall within the temple premises ). The Shivlinga is then bathed with Panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar), गंगोधक स्नान, itra (सप्तम स्नान), and sacred water of Ma Narmada, followed by Rudra chanting of the entire eight chapters of Rudra, offering of bilva leaves, flowers, incense, and deepa. The ritual concludes with aarti and prasadam distribution.

Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga is located in Omkareshwar, it is the fourth Jyotirlinga out of twelve Jyotirlingas. The ancient name of Mamaleshwar Jyotirlinga is Amareshwar. Both Omkareshwar and Mamaleshwar are forms of the same Jyotirlinga. Mamaleshwar Jyotirlinga is on the south bank of the Narmada, and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga sits on the Omkar Parvat towards the north bank of the Narmada. Maa Narmada is in the middle of both temples. According to the verse of Shiva Puranokta Dwadash Jyotirlinga Stroth, the names of all the 12 Jyotirlingas are known as their place area.
